This workshop explains how to add links to your institution’s library in Google Scholar.

Linking Google Scholar to Your Institution’s Library

  1. Navigate to https://scholar.google.com.
  2. Select the three-horizontal-line expand menu button (also called a hamburger button) in the top left corner of the browser window.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Library links.
  5. Enter your institution’s name in the Library links search box and press Enter.

    If Library links are available for your library, it will appear in a list of results beneath the search box.

  6. Place a check in the box next to your institution’s library.
  7. Select Save.

    When you search Google Scholar, if your library has full text, a link to your library will appear to the right of each Google Scholar search result.
