This workshop explains how to add links to your institution’s library in Google Scholar.
Linking Google Scholar to Your Institution’s Library
- Navigate to https://scholar.google.com.
- Select the three-horizontal-line expand menu button (also called a hamburger button) in the top left corner of the browser window.
- Select Settings.
- Select Library links.

Enter your institution’s name in the Library links search box and press Enter.
If Library links are available for your library, it will appear in a list of results beneath the search box.
- Place a check in the box next to your institution’s library.

Select Save.
When you search Google Scholar, if your library has full text, a link to your library will appear to the right of each Google Scholar search result.
